Wire Project- My Old Glove
The journey of finding a position on the field was not tough for me at first. When I saw pitchers on the baseball field, it made me realize how important it was to be one. I thought it would be really cool to get all the attention and throwing it hard down the middle. This was my first position as a baseball player, and that was the first time I got a pitching glove. A mitt is a part of the player's character. It signifies the skill of the player depending on what type of glove it is. It has always helped me get into a good rhythm when throwing a baseball. I stopped being a pitcher only a couple years ago when I realized that I had a skill for getting on base. I still hold onto this glove because I have put hours of work into this glove, and it is the last pitching glove I ever had. I felt like this was the best choice for my project because it is one of the most important material items I have. Another unique thing about it that has to do with me is that I am a lefty, and it makes me unique on the field. I always feel kinda sad when throwing away old baseball equipment, so I decided to hold onto this one because there is a part of me that is still in it.
